How to create a new outfit from your existing wardrobe?

I damn feel you when you say that I don’t have anything to wear. It used to happen to me too.

The bitter truth is we all have plenty of clothes in our wardrobe, but we don’t put in the effort to an ensemble.

So, if you think you don’t have anything to wear, be with me till the end.

There could be many ways to assemble different pieces to create a gorgeous outfit.

But I chose to combine two pieces with the same color or shades of one color to create a monochromatic outfit. Yes, you hear it right. It changes the look completely and looks classy & sophisticated.

I bet you will find many such pieces just lying in your wardrobe.

  1. Play with prints

I am wearing a printed green boat neck top and paired it with green pants. It makes a huge difference. You always tend to pair it with denim or a white top.

But this way the possibilities are endless. Also, don’t be afraid to add a pop of color. I am carrying a peach color sling bag to break the monotony of this outfit.

  1. Play with extreme shades of the same color

I am wearing a yellow sweater with camel pants and a camel blazer. You can also team up any orange top or sweater with similar pants.

  1. Bling

Play with different fabric types. I am wearing a pink satin top with pink pants. To add bling, I’m carrying a silver sling bag.

  1. Pure monochrome.

If you are two confused you can totally go white on white or black on black or easy to carry colors.

Two of my favorites are lilac on lilac & blue on blue.

I just love how these outfits put together a classy look. These are very simple tips to create a new outfit if you’re bored by your existing clothes. I hope this blog helps you in styling your clothes in a new way.

Go monochromatic & I would love to see you slay.

Love,

Jayshree
